“It´s sausage to me” in Vienna means “I don´t care,” however, nobody in the Austrian capital is indifferent toward sausages. The traditional sausage kiosk is one of the highlights of Vienna’s culinary landscape, along with the famous Wiener Schnitzel and Sachertorte. Opened in autumn 2015, “Hansi – Salsicharia Vienense” at Cais do Sodré brings this Austrian delicacy to Lisbon. We offer a selection of sausages that rivals Vienna, all made using traditional recipes passed down the generations from our family butcher shop in Lower Austria – true to our motto “Qualidade desde 1951”. Our Gastronomy


Our menu boasts nine different types of sausages, including the classic cheese-filled Käsekrainer and the 100% beef Burenwurst, as well as specialties such as the Lammbratwurst (lamb sausage) and the smoked Waldviertler. Vegetarians can enjoy our fried mushrooms, a staple of Austrian cuisine, fried aubergine or our freshly prepared salads. Thirsty? Sausage goes perfectly with beer! We have Czech Budvar and Bavarian Paulaner on tap, or perhaps try a bottle of ABC, an Austro-Portuguese craft beer, brewed in Serra da Arrabida.
